Welcome to my site. I've put these pages together to showcase my research, ideas, and the marvellous creatures that I get to work on. The aim of my work is to link the typically engineering-focused field of control dynamics to animal behaviour. Building effective phenomenological models of animal behaviour helps us to both understand what an animal is doing, and why it does it that way. I hope to attribute value to little-known invertebrates and demonstrate the worth of fieldwork on non-model insect species in particular. Without further ado, please take a look at the species I've had the pleasure to work with and what I've learned from them.
